Overview of the project and expected outcomes
- Project description: The objective of the HUMAVOX project is to integrate the speech recognition and synthesis in order to facilitate the human-computer interaction. This project is focused on speech recognition with a limited vocabulary and grammar. It aims to develop concepts allowing the treatment of words or sentences which have not been recognized by the engine.
- Keywords: human-computer interaction, smart environments, speech recognition and speech synthesis, etc.
- Outcomes: A prototype of a medical form has been developed within the framework of this project. A patient can fill in the remote medical form (via Internet) using the voice and/or the keyboard. Demos are available on the website.
